Barry Pearlman, founder of Pearlman, Borska & Wax in May of 1984, specializes in employment litigation and workers? compensation.

He is exclusive counsel on LC132a discrimination claims and Serious and Willful Misconduct claims for a multinational employer. He is an experienced litigator with numerous successes before the Workers? Compensation Appeals Board, and the Appellate and Superior Courts of the State of California.
As a respected member of the Employment Law and Workers? Compensation communities, Barry is a frequent lecturer, speaker and instructor on current trends in procedure, law and strategy. Raymond Correio, Senior Associate, Pearlman, Borska & Wax, specializes in all aspects of workers? compensation litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal. Before joining the firm, Ray was a Workers? Compensation Judge assigned to both the Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey District Offices for approximately twelve years.
During his tenure as a Workers? Compensation Judge, he was a frequent speaker on a variety of topics and issues. He is the author of a widely used apportionment case law summary and continues to be an invited speaker on a variety of workers? comp issues and topics. In June of 2010, he was on a panel to help train 350 physicians on apportionment at the CSIMS (California Society of Industrial Medicine) seminar in San Diego. In 2010 and 2012, he was an invited speaker at the Workers? Compensation Section of the State Bar on recent cases dealing with AMA Guides under Almanaz & Guzman and apportionment.
